As an advocate for child health with a strong interest in preventative health strategies Lindsey was excited to join the Children’s Optimal Health (COH) team in January of 2011. Prior to COH, Lindsey served as an AmeriCorps Member for Communities in Schools of Central Texas at a local middle school in Austin. She has also worked for the Sustainable Food Center as a Sprouting Healthy Kids Intern and with The Happy Kitchen (THK) program facilitating cooking and nutrition classes and working on the newest edition of the THK Cookbook. Lindsey completed her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies at the University of Arizona and is currently a Master’s student in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Texas.
