NNIP and Place-Based Initiatives

This presentation at the Grantmakers for Effective Organization's meeting first describes the NNIP model and then illustrates local partners' role in place-based initiatives with examples from Data Driven Detroit, Center for CommunityBuilding and Neighborhood Action at the University of Memphis, Mid-America Regional Council in Kansas City, and the Center for Economic Information at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  It concludes with a presentation of how NeighborhoodInfo DC enhanced the Urban Institute's analytic support for the DC Promise Neighborhoods.
