Furman Center Receives NYHC's Empire Award for Leadership in Affordable Housing

The Furman Center has been named recipient of the 2013 Empire Award for Leadership in Affordable Housing by the New York Housing Conference . The Furman Center has conducted academic research on the effects of subsidized housing, hosted discussions last year on Superstorm Sandy, and produced an #NYChousing issue brief series for the incoming mayoral administration. They will formally received the award at the 40th Annual Awards Program of the New York Housing Conference & National Housing Conference, Advocacy to the 40th Degree , on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hilton NY.
