CBANA develops Safeways crime reduction and crime prevention strategy

This strategy is being readied for city-wide replication and linkage with Defending Childhood and National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention The data-driven Safeways community safety and crime prevention/quality of life strategy – reaching families where they live in low income apartment communities through site-based resident outreach, capacity-building, and services -- which CBANA pioneered with the Center for Community Criminology and Research and the Southeast Memphis CDC, is being packaged for city-wide replication and paired with broader collaborative efforts on behalf of children, youth, and families.
