The Challenges of Working with Truancy Data

In this webinar, Shon Bunkley of Community Research Partners and Hedy Chang, a consultant to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, present their recent work on truancy.   

Shon was part of the CRP team that released a report in May 2008 on truancy in Columbus. She will discuss the lessons learned from working with the Columbus data.  

Hedy is in the final stages of producing a report, sponsored by the Casey Foundation, examining chronic absenteeism in several urban areas across the country. Five NNIP partners supplied absenteeism data for the study. Hedy will present some of the findings from the report and discuss the challenges of cross-site work on absenteeism.
