Stephanie Martinez has a degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio as well as a certificate in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Since 2008, she has worked with placed based initiatives in distressed and underserved communities in San Antonio. Stephanie has previously worked with the Annie E. Casey foundation’sMaking Connections project, where she was involved with survey field work, data cleaning and management. As a part of Making Connections, she also conducted an evaluation of informal preschool programs.  In her role at CI: Now, Stephanie provides data support, as well as assistance with performance and outcomes reporting, for placed-based initiatives. She provides front-line user support and assists in managing the CommunityViewer integrated data system.  Stephanie maintains and updates the collection of data resources in the Data Explorer, prepares and assembles datasets, and creates data maps in addition to other data visualizations for CI: Now.  Stephanie is a lifelong San Antonio Spurs fan, avid runner and dog lover.
