Sharon E. Milligan, Ph.D., MSW, MPH, MS, LISW-S is an Associate Professor, and Associate Dean, Academic Affairs at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University’s graduate program in social work. At MSASS she is also the Associate Director for Education and Community Outreach at the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development. She teaches graduate courses in community development, social policy and research methodology, and directs research and training projects focusing on the development of technology for evaluating neighborhood-based initiatives in urban communities. Professor Milligan's teaching and research interests revolve around the intersection of community development practice and policy for the poor.
