Census 2020: Why your help is essential

Early childhood advocates and service providers can communicate the importance of the Census to their families and ensure that their young children are counted. CI:Now recently presented these issues to the ReadyKidSA Coalition, which works to create a comprehensive early childhood system that promotes child development and provides parents and caregivers with the resources to better support their families. The CI:Now staff were already trusted collaborators, having previously provided data support to the groups in the past.

The presentation covers why getting a complete count matters, barriers to census participation, what groups are considered hard-to-count, and ways for the advocates and service providers to get involved.
