Create Columbus Commission Student Debt Report

The Create Columbus Commission (CCC) asked Thoughtwell to look at initiatives offered around the country by cities and states that offer partial-forgiveness of educational debt, to see if a program in Columbus could attract young professionals to the city. The report found that programs in other cities or states had been successful in attracting young professionals with student debt, and recommended a business tax credit, a homebuyer loan, and an income tax waiver as possible programs for Columbus.
