Community Data & Research Lab at the Johnson Center (Grand Rapids)
The Community Research Institute (CRI) at Grand Valley State University helped the Grand Rapids African-American Health Institute put several interactive maps on their website using the 500 Cities Data. The Grand Rapids African-American Health Institute is still experimenting with the data, but they have a couple of interactive maps using ArcGIS online. We helped pull the data and got it into a shapefile for them and loaded it up into the ArcGIS online system so that they could create their own maps and embed them in their website. We also added some data from the ACS as well. Each of the 30 or so measures are loaded up in the system so they can create a lot more maps about this.
