- Foster a culture of data-based decision making within their city
- Develop innovative solutions to common problems
- Share their data story with internal and external stakeholders
This training is provided by the Johns Hopkins University's Center for Government Excellence as part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies' What Works Cities initiative. It best serves supervisors and mid-level managers who want to explore how open data, performance analytics, and other data practices can benefit their government or organization and those who are looking for analytics training that challenge them to think beyond spreadsheets and performance measures. It is currently open to city staff participating in What Works Cities.
