Local Partner Presentation: The North-South Gap

This session is an introduction to Dallas and our host partner, The Institute for Urban Policy Research (IUPR), highlighting the work they and others have been doing locally. 

In his opening remarks, Dr. Timothy Bray will provide a brief overview of IUPR’s history and some of the projects that have defined the first decade of IUPR. Following Dr. Bray’s presentation, Anthony Galvan will provide an overview of Dallas’ current socio-demographic landscape, and provide context for the local session, linking the past and present to the Dallas neighborhoods featured in the tours. The second half of this session will focus on the persistence of inequality in Dallas.
