Facing Race: A National Conference is presented by Race Forward: The Center for Racial Justice Innovation. It will be held in Dallas, Texas on November 13-15, 2014. Dallas is the first Southern city to host the conference. Over 1,400 participants from all over the world attend the conference biannually. The Institute is the local coordinator for the conference. Among other activities, we are curating a local tour and coordinating the local host committee that includes business, education, foundation, and civic leaders from throughout Dallas and the North Texas region. As the local partner, The Institute also coordinated a local tour showcasing stories of struggle and hope in Dallas.
