Nasher Sculpture Museum Social Sculpture Program.
Institute for Urban Policy Research (Dallas)
2013
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the the museum initiated a program on social sculpture in poor neighborhood, involving establishing a community arts center (small studio space) and participation at community markets where artists show their work. IUPR has been asked to facilitate conversations at the center and the other events – they bring and present data on neighborhood characteristics and engage those who attend in discussions of neighborhood features in relation to the art.
