Sacramento County Children's Report Card 2011 Action Briefs

Community Link and the Sacramento County Children’s Coalition are in the process of producing a new series of “Action Briefs” that target specific areas of concern for children, youth and young adults previously reported in the 2011 Sacramento County Children’s Report Card. Based on the findings from the Report Card, the briefs are designed to promote a better understanding of current issues and their underlying causes, identify challenges and opportunities for improvement, and provide program and policy recommendations. The two briefs planned for late 2011 are on the achievement gap in the schools and on transitions for youth aging out of foster care.
