The Piton Foundation and The Denver Foundation are working on two major projects, one a “data commons” that brings together publicly available data for easy community access, and the other an online storytelling tool called “Floodlight.” Both launched fall 2012.
To best develop and position these tools for the Metro Denver nonprofit sector, we developed a short survey that we distributed to non-profits, government organizations, researchers, journalists and others throughout Colorado. The survey includes questions on technology use and familiarity with finding, accessing, understanding and communicating with data.
The accompanying document has the full set of survey questions.
