This chapter is the third in the edited volume, Putting Data to Work: Data-Driven Approaches to Strengthening Neighborhoods. The chapter reviews the development and use of property- level data in Minneapolis in designing strategies for individual properties within neighborhoods. It also describes the market conditions in Minneapolis and discusses the formation of Vacant House Project Coalition. Finally, it offers examples of how to use data to inform housing policies and suggests strategies for creating data-sharing models.
