2015 New Haven Health Survey
Report by Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE)
April 2016
DataHaven (New Haven - Connecticut)
The Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE) is a partnership between the New Haven community and the Yale School of Public Health. The program conducts a survey to track neighborhood health. The program is modeled on community-engaged research, and residents are hired and involved in data collection. The third survey was conducted in fall 2015 and the results were written up and published in this report. The 2015 findings show that many still face challenges to health in low-income New Haven neighborhoods. The report references DataHaven's Community Wellness Survey, conducted from April to October 2015 and posted at http://www.ctdatahaven.org/reports/datahaven-community-wellbeing-survey.
