Workshop: 2020 State of Housing in Harris County and Houston

Kinder Institute for Urban Research
October 15, 2020

In June 2020, the Kinder Institute launched its inaugural "State of Housing in Harris County and Houston” report. The institute hosted a workshop with residents, housers, public officials and other stakeholders to solicit input about how to refine the State of Housing report for the 2021 version. Our research team and event participants discussed the findings of our initial report, offered ideas about what else we can include that would be useful to the community, and heard from a panel about the current housing situation in Houston during COVID-19.
