New Partnership with Library and Information Science Program in Pittsburgh

 The Regional Data Center is now working directly with faculty at Pitt’s School of Computing and Information to establish the Community Information Service, which will serve as a service learning component to the School’s Master's of Library and Information Science program. Student teams will work to diagnose and develop solutions for data and information problems for local organizations, especially in marginalized and underserved communities. Many of these neighborhoods are served by the Pitt Community Engagement Centers.
