Launch of Data to Action Platform
The PACE Data Platform is an interactive resource for learning about Adverse and Positive Childhood Experiences (ACEs and PCEs) in Connecticut. The goal of the PACE Platform is to provide ongoing, short-term, systematic ACE and PCE data for use by public health personnel, government leaders, and the public to inform youth-centered health policies and prevention strategies. ACEs are events that occur in childhood that may increase the risk of adverse outcomes later in life. PCEs are factors that have proven to promote healthy child development and well-being and have been found to buffer against the effects of ACEs.
The PACE Data to Action Platform was developed in partnership with the Department of Public Health Sciences at UConn Health, and the Center for Prevention Evaluation and Statistics.
