Developing Qualitative Data Infrastructure to Improve Access to Maternal Healthcare in St. Louis
The Community Innovation and Action Center (CIAC) is working closely with the Community Health Commission of Missouri (CHCM) as a primary partner in developing qualitative data infrastructure for the St. Louis region.
This three-year effort began on July 1st, 2024, and is funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health. Three major partners, including CHCM, will work with CIAC on co-developing community governing structures and pilot projects that will test how qualitative data can be organized and elevated as an equally-powerful type of data for community decision making. With a focus on improving access to maternal healthcare in St. Louis and throughout Missouri, they are pairing qualitative patient/community data collected by CHCM staff with quantitative health provider data sourced through state intermediaries.
