Children's Corridor Asset Inventory

Shift Research Lab   (Denver*)

August 2012

The Piton Foundation is working to develop a comprehensive list of community assets that exist within the Children’s Corridor.

Key Assets Include

  1. Local Foundation Grantmaking: The foundation has hired a contractor to gather grant making activities from 10 of the largest community foundations in Denver.
  2. Service Providers: Mile High United Way provided the foundation with its 211 resource database of service providing organizations.
  3. Schools, preschools, health care facilities and libraries
  4. Denver Office of Economic Development investments (forthcoming)

Once complete, the foundation will be able to host and visualize the resource landscape within the corridor to help the community better understand current resource allocation and areas with gaps that could be potentially be addressed.
