Brianna Losoya is a research assistant in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute.  She is originally from Midland, Texas. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French. She wrote her senior thesis on the relationship between immigration and crime in the United States in which she analyzed data for the 100 most populated cities. While at Claremont McKenna College, she was a Research Assistant at the Lowe Institute of Political Economy where she conducted research and developed economic forecasts for the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley, both located in Southern California.
