This presentation was part of the Ignite Showcase at the NNIP May 2015 partners meeting

As the national debate on immigration heats up, there is fresh evidence showing how immigration makes communities stronger and more vibrant in many ways. In particular, Greater New Haven has seen an influx of foreign-born individuals over the past decade, and it has experienced social, cultural, and economic changes due to immigration. What are some characteristics of Greater New Haven's immigrants? How have they reshaped the community? And how does the region overall perceive immigration? DataHaven used local and national data sources, designed and implemented surveys, and convened regional experts to answer these questions. See DataHaven's website for more information.
